Ingredients

• 2–3 lb cleaned octopus

• 3 tbsp olive oil

• 4 garlic cloves, minced

• 1 tsp smoked paprika

• 1 tsp black pepper

• 1 tsp dried oregano

• ½ tsp red pepper flakes

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 tbsp butter

• 1 fresh lemon

• 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, oregano, chili flakes, and lemon juice.

Prep: 15 min

Cook: 60 min

Marinate: Toss cooked octopus with the marinade and rest for 20–30 minutes.

Marinate: 20–30 min

Grill: Grill over high heat for 3–5 minutes per side until browned and lightly charred.

Serves: 4

Finish: Add butter, then drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
